Last but not least: Thank You to El Salvador

Gracias to El Salvador! Gracias to the land, my mother, for the unconditional love, manifested on the green vegetation, which spurts out everywhere you go. Thanks for the guava trees, the avocado, the corn, the coffee, the lakes, the birds and insects. For the beautiful sunsets and the beaches the warm, humid fertile land, scenario of beautiful and at the same time violent, dangerous things like the volcanoes. A place of life, love and death, where a civil war killed more than 75, 000 people and where another thousand died due to natural disasters, like earthquakes and hurricanes… to this land, a la Madre Tierra, GRACIAS!
Because just as Michelangelo Buonarroti said once:
“If we have been pleased with life, we should not be displeased with death, since it comes from the hand of the same master.”
